Frequently Asked Questions.
Is there a retainer required to book a session?
Yes, the retainer is 25% of the session cost and is due at the booking of your session. The retainer is NON-REFUNDABLE and is taken off the total cost of your session. The retainer is to assure that the time and date that is selected is held for you.
How long does it take to receive my gallery?
My turn around time is currently 25 to 30 business days. I will do my best to get your gallery to you prior to this deadline, however, I do ask for your patience as I am typically working on multiple sessions at any given time.
Is access to the client closet included?
All full sessions have full access to my client closet. My client closet is forever changing and growing, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to see if anything new has been added. All sessions that are booked and are less than a full session will have access to the style guide.
Do I have to worry about my children sitting for poses?
I probably say this more than I would like to admit, but children will be children. I follow their lead and how they are feeling at the start of our session. I really would not worry about poses because I am more of a candid and eyes off the camera shooter! Give me all of the real smiles or grumpy faced babies cuddling up to their mamas. Those are my favorites images to capture. I promise they will warm up!
Who can I include in my session?
I have thought about this and I think that my session packages really only are built for immediate family (Mother, Father, Children). I also LOVE when families include their dogs! They are more than welcome to join as long as they are friendly.
Is there a travel fee?
Yes, there is a travel fee for any distance 20 miles from Haymarket, VA. There is a $50 travel fee that will be added to your invoice. The only exception is if you specifically book the location that is offered on the booking link.
Do I Get an outfit change?
I do allow an outfit change for Maternity sessions. I feel as if momma should be able to wear an outfit for the entire family images and then have a gown for just images of herself and her sweet bump.
